Connect Blackberry

With SeeTest, you can test applications running on real devices, such as Blackberry. To do so follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Prerequisites on the desktop: download the Blackberry desktop software for PC

Step 2: Go to the Device Tab in SeeTest and click the Add Device icon and select “Blackberry device” from the drop down list.

Rounded Rectangular Callout: Click the Add Device icon and select Blackberry from the dropdown list

A pop-up will appear; click on the Deploy Agent button.

Step 3: On the Blackberry physical device, click the Experitest Blackberry Remote Agent icon. (If prompted to approve special permissions, approve all).

Step 4: Once you have completed the process above, you should see the following screen on the Blackberry physical device.

Once you have deployed the agent as described in steps 1-4 above, you will have to configure the permissions on the device, as follows:

Step 6: Select 'Device'

Step 7: Select 'Application Management'

Step 8: Select 'BlackberryRemoteClient'

Step 9: Select 'Edit Permissions'

Step 10: Verify the permissions configured as follow:
