Connect Android

With SeeTest, you can test applications running on real devices, such as Android. To do so, your device needs to meet certain prerequisites and you need to connect SeeTest to the device

 

 

Step 1: Prerequisites on the device

 

The USB driver for your device should be installed. For the following devices, please download the USB drivers here (note:During the installation disconnect the device and run the driver setup as administrator):

(2)  The device should be “USB debugging” enable (to enable  “USB Debugging” in your device go to: Settings->Applications->Development and set the USB debugging to enable.)

 

 

 

Step 2: Connect SeeTest to the device

In SeeTest go to the Device Tab and click the Add Device icon (and select Android from the dropdown list):

A pop up will appear and  will you will then see the name of the Android device. Click on the device name and then on the OK button.

 

 

 

The selected device will appear in the Device Tab. Select it and click the Open Device icon (check that it’s status changes from Ready to Open).

 

 

The device screen should appear then on your desktop.
